APC Screening Panel Clears 29 Aspirants Ahead of Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) screening panel, chaired by Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has cleared 29 aspirants, including Yilwatda, Basiru, Duhu, and Nduka, for various positions in the party. The screening took place on Tuesday in Abuja, with the party's national chairman highlighting the commitment to due process and the importance of maintaining a transparent internal democratic system.

The panel included notable figures such as Deputy National Chairmen Hon. Abubakar Dalori and Chief Emma Eneukwu, and various vice chairmen from different regions.

Ajibola Basiru, the party's national secretary, described the screening as successful and acknowledged the strides made by the party's leadership. The APC's membership database has reportedly grown to 12 million members, enhancing the party's administrative efficiency and capacity for conducting primaries.

The leadership aims to ensure a cohesive and just environment for all members as they prepare for upcoming electoral contests.
