Croatia Faces Spain in Nations League After England Loss
Croatia will host Spain in a crucial UEFA Nations League match at the Poljud Stadium in Split on Tuesday. This encounter comes on the heels of Croatia's humiliating 7-0 defeat to England, leaving them with three points from three matches and positioned third in Group A3.
Coach Slaven Bilić's team faces significant pressure to regroup and perform against a Spain side that currently leads the group with nine points from three matches. Spain maintained their perfect record with a 3-1 victory over the Czech Republic and previously defeated Croatia 4-1 in their reverse fixture in September.
The upcoming match represents a critical opportunity for Croatia to restore confidence and keep their Nations League hopes alive, as another defeat would intensify the pressure on Bilić and his players.
