FCTA Confirms Negative Ebola Test for Index Suspect; Doctors on Strike

The Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority have confirmed that the index Ebola suspect who returned from Rwanda has tested negative for Ebola and Marburg diseases. The FCT Resident Doctors have also announced an indefinite strike over unpaid arrears.

The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, assured the public of the negative status of the suspect and emphasized the strengthening of health protocols. The NCDC is working closely with the FCTA to secure the borders.
