NCAA invites Ibom Air passenger, cabin crew for questioning

The NCAA has invited a passenger and cabin crew of Ibom Air for questioning following an incident involving Emmanson King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as KWAM1, on a recent ValueJet flight. The incident, which sparked a social media frenzy, led to the federal government pardoning the passenger.

The investigation aims to shed light on the incident and improve the relationship between cabin crew and passengers. The Director of Public Relations, Michael Achimugu, clarified that the investigation would continue to gather details and ensure professionalism in handling such situations.

The stakeholders' meeting, which included representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority, Senate Committee on Aviation, airline operators, and aviation security experts, emphasized the need for collaboration to address unruly behavior and enhance safety in the aviation sector. The meeting highlighted the importance of enforcing policies, training crew members, and implementing procedures to prevent or manage such incidents effectively.

The Minister of Aviation and the National Assembly have also shown interest in resolving the issue and upholding aviation regulations.
