Nigerian Aviation Authority Threatens Airlines Over Flight Delays

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued a serious warning to domestic airlines regarding constant flight delays and inadequate passenger care. The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NCAA, Mr.

Michael Achimugu, emphasized the need for airlines to comply with aviation regulations, especially during high passenger traffic periods like December. Failure to provide proper care to passengers facing flight disruptions, including delays exceeding two hours, will result in sanctions.

The airlines have been given an ultimatum to adhere to consumer protection standards, or face enforcement actions and penalties.
