NCAA Approves Return of Commercial Flights at Ibadan Airport

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has given the green light for scheduled flight operations to commence at Ibadan's Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport. This approval comes after the Oyo State government undertook various projects to enhance the airport's infrastructure, including runway expansion and the construction of aviation fuel storage facilities.

Governor Seyi Makinde's administration has been focused on upgrading the airport to international standards, leading to the issuance of an interim operating permit by the NCAA.
