NCDMB Focuses on Skill Development for Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Growth

The Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board (NCDMB) identified key skill areas for capacity building at the Africa Energy Week in Cape Town. Executive Secretary Engr Felix Omatsola Ogbe highlighted the focus on skill development to create job opportunities in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

Key areas include underwater welding, subsea engineering, geosciences, project management, and digitalization like Artificial Intelligence. The emphasis on local content development aims to bridge skill gaps and enhance collaboration between the government, operators, service companies, and host communities.
