NCSP and NACCIMA Boost SME Growth through China Partnership

The Nigerian-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP) and the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) are working together to promote SME-led industrial growth in Nigeria. Following a high-level meeting, NCSP reaffirmed its commitment to strengthen collaboration with the private sector to accelerate Nigeria's industrial expansion.

Joseph Tegb, the Director General of NCSP, outlined the partnership's core mandate, which includes oversight of FOCAC-related initiatives and facilitating industrial projects across priority sectors. The next phase will focus on harmonizing ongoing initiatives and improving policy coherence to ensure that Nigerian businesses, particularly SMEs, benefit directly from bilateral trade and investment.

Engr. Jani Ibrahim, the President of NACCIMA, commended NCSP's structured engagement model and emphasized the importance of integrating SMEs into the manufacturing value chain.

The collaboration aims to enhance Nigeria's export competitiveness and develop industrial clusters, with a focus on agro-processing and vocational education to bridge skill gaps.
