NDC Chairman Zuwogh Claims APC Fears Rising Popularity

Cleopa Mose Zuwogh, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is anxious about the NDC's increasing popularity, which he claims has become a source of concern for the ruling party. During a press conference in Abuja, Zuwogh discussed a recent high court ruling that set aside the NDC's registration attempt, arguing that it was politically motivated and lacked legitimate grounds.

He expressed confidence that the NDC's legal team would successfully challenge the ruling in the appellate court. Zuwogh reassured party members that the court's decision would not hinder their preparations for the 2027 general elections.

He emphasized the importance of active participation in the electoral process and encouraged Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to protect their votes. Zuwogh also described Peter Obi, the NDC's presidential candidate, as Nigeria's best hope for the future.
