NDIC Pays N24bn Dividend to Heritage Bank Customers, Plans More Payments

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has paid a N24 billion liquidation dividend to Heritage Bank customers following the revocation of the bank's license by the Central Bank of Nigeria. NDIC also declared a first liquid dividend of N46.6 billion in April 2025.

Customers with account balances exceeding the statutory insurance limit of N5 million are eligible for the dividend. NDIC assures the public of further payments as assets are recovered.

Customers can claim their dividends by visiting NDIC offices and completing the necessary forms.
