Super Eagles Squad Announced for Friendlies Against Poland, Portugal

Eric Chelle, the current handler of the Super Eagles, unveiled a 24-man squad to confront Poland and Portugal in international friendlies scheduled for June 3 and June 10, 2024, respectively. The squad is captained by Wilfred Ndidi and features prominent players such as Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Paul Onuachu.

The matches will take place at PGE Narodowi Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, and Estadio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa in Leiria, Portugal, both kicking off at 8:45 PM local time.

Chelle's selection includes players like Alex Iwobi, Maduka Okoye, Zaidu Sanusi, and Calvin Bassey, among others. The Super Eagles will also participate in the United Cup mini-tournament in London from May 26 to 30, where they aim to defend their title.

The squad includes ten uncapped players, showcasing a blend of experience and youth as they prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar, Tanzania, and Guinea-Bissau.
