Ndidi Returns to Training After Father's Funeral

Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for Besiktas and captain of the Super Eagles, is preparing to return to first-team training after an emotional farewell to his father, Sundai Ndidi, who tragically passed away in a car accident in Agbor, Delta State, three weeks ago. During this difficult period, Besiktas provided immense support to Ndidi, including paying tribute to his late father by sharing memories on the stadium screen during subsequent matches.

Ndidi traveled to Nigeria last week to attend his father's funeral, where he was accompanied by family members to lay Sundai Ndidi to rest. Following the ceremony, the former Leicester City player returned to Turkey to resume his duties.

He was seen training with his teammates at the Nevzat Demir facility on Wednesday, with the club sharing images of the session.
