NDLEA Arrests Wanted Drug Baron, Recovers Hard Currency and Cannabis

The NDLEA conducted a successful operation leading to the arrest of Frank Chijiok Ibemesi, a wanted drug baron, at a hotel in Lagos. Ibemesi, the CEO of Franc CJ Ibemesi Nig Ltd, was found in possession of a large quantity of cannabis.

Additionally, the agency seized cash in different currencies and thwarted a drug distribution operation in Osun State. The operation also resulted in the arrest of several suspects and the recovery of a substantial amount of cannabis in Edo State.

The suspects are currently in custody, facing charges related to drug trafficking.
