NDLEA Secures 21-Year Jail Term for International Drug Traffickers in Lagos

The NDLEA secured a 21-year jail term for five members of an international drug trafficking syndicate recently apprehended at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The traffickers were intercepted with cocaine and opioids destined for Australia and Gabon.

The ringleaders were identified as Olasupo Michael Oladimeji, Muaeze Ademola Ogunbiyi, and Sola Adegok. Additionally, Obunik Joseph Obichukwu and Uzorchukwu Godspow Chukwurah were identified as coordinators of the drug network.

The court sentenced the traffickers to prison and ordered the forfeiture of seized assets.
