NEC Endorses Renewed Hope Development Plan to Fast-track $1 Trillion Economy

The National Economic Council (NEC) endorsed the Renewed Hope Development Plan 2026-2030 to fast-track Nigeria's $1 trillion economy target. The plan aims to consolidate reform agendas and accelerate growth through inclusivity and stakeholder participation.

The NEC also urged the effective release of funds for the national polio immunization campaign. The meeting, chaired by the Vice President, emphasized the importance of the new national development plan in building on existing policies.
