NELFUND Closes 2024/2025 Application Portal, Reopens in October for New Cycle

NELFUND has closed the application portal for the 2024/2025 academic session, with plans to reopen in the second week of October 2025. The Nigerian Education Loan Fund announced the closure to finalize pending applications and processing.

The Fund directed institutions to update student records on the Student Verification System for the next application cycle, open until January 2026. Students whose verification remains incomplete by October 8, 2025, will have their applications canceled.

NELFUND urged prompt verification to avoid cancellation and encouraged affected students to reapply within the specified timeline.
