NELFUND Extends Support to Technical and Vocational College Students to Open a Job Portal for Loan Beneficiaries

NELFUND has announced a new initiative to support technical and vocational college students by opening a job portal for loan beneficiaries. The program aims to enhance skill development and boost job prospects for Nigerian youth.

The Managing Executive of NELFUND, Akintunde Sawyerr, highlighted the agency's collaboration with relevant bodies to ensure the successful implementation of the Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) program. The Executive Director of Operations, Mustapha Iyal, provided details of the skill set program, emphasizing that it follows a flexible and repayable two-year financing model.

Additionally, a centralized job portal will be created to link loan beneficiaries with prospective employers in Nigeria and overseas. This initiative is part of NELFUND's commitment to supporting Nigerian youth in accessing quality education and improving their future prospects.
