NEMA Leads Rescue After Enugu Building Collapse
On Sunday, September 13, 2026, at approximately 6 a.m., a four-storey uncompleted building collapsed at Independence Layout in Enugu State. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), led by Director-General Mrs Zubaida Umar, initiated rescue operations by deploying an Emergency Rescue Team from its Enugu Operations Office.
