E.F. Network Unveils 40,000-Capacity EV Assembly Plant in Nigeria, Boosting Automotive Sector

E.F. Network, led by Chairman and CEO Gideon Egbuchulam, revealed plans to launch a large-scale electric and hybrid vehicle assembly plant in Nigeria by the first quarter of 2026.

The company's partnership with Zhejiang Pukao New Energy Vehicle Co Ltd and BCBL aims to assemble 40,000 vehicles annually, with an ambitious goal to expand to 100,000 units by 2028. This initiative is expected to stimulate job growth, creating 5,000 direct and 20,000 indirect jobs.

The move is supported by the Nigerian government's incentives for local vehicle assembly, with President Bola Tinubu's administration praised for its environmental support measures.
