LAWMA Enhances Waste Management with New Compactor Trucks

Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), disclosed the addition of 10 new compactor trucks to the agency's fleet, aimed at improving operational efficiency and service delivery in waste evacuation across Lagos State.

This announcement was made during an event where Gbadegesin expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Lottery Game Authority for donating the vehicles, highlighting this gesture as a demonstration of the state government's commitment to enhancing public service delivery. He emphasized the need for collaboration among government institutions to address environmental challenges and sustain waste management efforts.

Gbadegesin noted that the new compactor trucks would complement LAWMA's existing fleet and improve waste collection efficiency, assuring residents of continued optimization of resources to strengthen waste evacuation operations.
