Arise TV Anchor Killed in Armed Robbery Incident, 12 Suspects Arrested

The armed robbery incident that led to the death of Arise TV anchor Somtochukwu Maduagwu in Katampe involved 15 armed men storming a building, resulting in the tragic death of the anchor. Sani Sirajo, a suspect, admitted to holding Somtochukwu before she fell off a three-story building.

Shamsudeen Hassan confessed to shooting the security guard during the robbery. The suspects were apprehended, and items stolen during the incident, including firearms, were recovered.

Investigations revealed that the suspects shared proceeds from the crime, with Hassan receiving 200,000 Naira.
