Somtochukwu, a presenter at Arise TV, tragically died after jumping from the third floor of his home in Katampe, Abuja, out of fear during a robbery attack. The incident occurred in the early hours, with robbers overpowering security guards and causing panic among residents.

Somtochukwu, known as Sommie, was found unconscious and later pronounced dead at Maitama General Hospital. The attack highlighted the growing wave of robberies in the area, leading to increased concerns about security.

The police commissioner emphasized the bravery of the security guards in confronting the armed robbers during the tragic event.
