DStv Unveils New Sports Packages for Subscribers in 2026

On September 17, 2026, DStv introduced a new range of subscription packages aimed at providing sports fans with varied options based on their viewing preferences. The new packages include Starter, Select, Sports, Movies & Series, Premium, and EasyView.

The Starter package offers access to several sports channels, including LaLiga, Kickoff, Blitz, and Africa, featuring live matches from leagues such as the Premier League, Serie A, and UEFA competitions. The Select package builds on the Starter offering by adding Football channels, which include Serie A and selected content from the EFL Championship and UEFA Champions League.

A dedicated Sports package is also available for subscribers focused solely on sports content. The Movies & Series package emphasizes films and series while maintaining the same sports offerings as the Select package.

MultiChoice, the operator of DStv, indicated that these changes initially apply to South Africa, with plans to introduce similar options in Nigeria, enhancing customer flexibility in content selection.
