New Permanent Secretary Briefed on Ministry's Mandate

Mr. Abdulkarim Ozi Ibrahim was appointed as the new Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy.

On the day of the briefing, he received a comprehensive overview from the Director of the Planning Research and Statistics Unit, Dr. Zainab C.

Pisaghi, at the ministry's headquarters in Abuja. The briefing aimed to provide a clear understanding of the department's mandate, core functions, ongoing programs, achievements, challenges, budget performance, resource gaps, and recommendations for improving service delivery.

Ibrahim emphasized the need for synergy to fulfill the ministry's mandate in line with the Federal Government's Renewed Hope Agenda. He reiterated the importance of teamwork and a commitment to professionalism, stating that these elements would enhance efficient and innovative service delivery.

The briefing also set a roadmap for cultural potential, aiming to position the country as a leading destination for tourism and creative enterprises.
