NFF Mourns Death of Super Eagles Captain Ndidi's Father in Fatal Accident

Sundai Ndidi, the father of Wilfred Ndidi, the captain of Nigeria's national football team, the Super Eagles, tragically died in a fatal traffic accident. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) expressed deep shock and sadness over the sudden loss.

Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the NFF General Secretary, released a statement mourning the elder Ndidi's passing.

Sundai Ndidi, a retired military officer, was reportedly involved in the accident in Umunede, Delta State, and was rushed to a hospital in Agbor, where he was confirmed dead. Besiktas, Wilfred Ndidi's club, also confirmed the incident and expressed deep sorrow at the tragic news.

The NFF praised Wilfred Ndidi for his recent performances at the Africa Cup of Nations and expressed condolences to the Ndidi family during this difficult time.
