NFF to Award Super Eagles $5,000 Per Goal at AFCON 2025

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed a cash reward of $5,000 for every goal scored by the Super Eagles at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). This initiative is part of a broader motivational package aimed at boosting the team's performance.

The NFF, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Sports, previously implemented a similar approach during Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifying campaign. The Super Eagles, led by coach Eric Chell, have already benefited from this policy, receiving $10,000 after their recent victory against Tanzania.

The team is gearing up for a crucial Group C match against Tunisia, with both sides vying for a spot in the knockout stage.
