Ogun State Empowers Women with 1,613 Affinity Groups in Nigeria Women Project

Ogun State has achieved a significant milestone in women empowerment by engaging nine states and forming 1,613 women affinity groups under the Nigeria Women Project. The State Commission for Women Affairs and Social Development, represented by Motunrayo Adijat Adeley, disclosed this achievement during a visit by delegations from other states.

Governor Dapo Abiodun's leadership and commitment, along with community leaders' support, have been instrumental in the success of the project. The initiative aims to empower women at the grassroots level, providing them with financial literacy, business support, and livelihood opportunities.
