NGX All-Share Index Climbs 2.36% to N106.3trn

The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) concluded the week positively, with the All-Share Index increasing by 2.36% to close at 166,129.50 points. Market capitalisation rose by 2.48%, reaching N106.354 trillion.

Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc, Access Holdings Plc, and Linkage Assurance Plc were the top three traded equities, collectively accounting for 1.406 billion shares worth N9.735 billion. The week saw 80 equities gain in price, while 17 declined, and 50 closed flat.
NCR Plc recorded the highest gain, rising 60.79% from N79.95 to N128.55. Conversely, Ikeja Hotel Plc experienced the largest decline, falling 12.38% from N40.00 to N35.05.
