NGX Hosts Lagos Cleanup for World Environment Day 2026

On World Environment Day 2026, the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) conducted a cleanup exercise in Marina, Lagos, in collaboration with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority and the Recycling Association of Nigeria. This initiative aimed to reinforce the group's commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible waste management.

Employees volunteered to participate, reflecting NGX's corporate social responsibility framework, which emphasizes environmental stewardship. Clifford Akpolo, head of community partnership at NGX, stated that the cleanup exercise is part of the group's vision to create long-term value and support environmental initiatives within the communities where they operate.
