Nigerian Insurance Association Emphasizes Role of Insurance in National Development

The Director General of the Nigerian Insurance Association (NIA), Mr. Bola Odukal, highlighted the critical role of insurance in national development during a workshop.

He stressed the importance of compulsory insurance provisions for economic growth, investor confidence, and public protection. Other speakers, including Margaret Ogbonna from the Nigerian Shipper Council and Soji Oni from NIA, discussed the need for effective implementation of compulsory insurance to benefit the economy.
