NCRIB Stresses Importance of Insurance for Sustainable Development in Abia State

The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) highlighted the critical role of insurance in promoting sustainable economic development during a visit to Abia State Governor Alex Otti. They discussed the importance of infrastructure development, commercial revival, and effective risk management for long-term growth.

NCRIB plans to establish an insurance brokerage marketplace in Aba to extend micro-insurance services to traders and small-scale businesses, aiming to protect vulnerable enterprises and create jobs. Otti expressed readiness to support the insurance sector, emphasizing the need for compliance and expanding insurance access across the state.
