Nicolas Cage Reveals Hotel Living After Malibu Sinkhole

Nicolas Cage disclosed that he has been living in hotels following a massive sinkhole that affected his Malibu property. The sinkhole, which opened in September, measured approximately 60 feet wide and 25 feet deep, causing extensive damage to his $10.5 million beachfront estate, including the collapse of his deck and destruction of his driveway.

A temporary gas leak was also triggered, prompting local officials to declare an emergency and issue evacuation orders for over 30 homes in the Malibu area. Cage, who has a four-year-old daughter named August with his wife Riko Shibata, noted that his current living situation means he will not have trick-or-treaters visiting this year.

He is also the father of two sons from previous relationships, Weston, 35, and Kal-El, 21.
