Niger Air Aids First Batch of 345 Pilgrims to Hajj

Niger Air conducted the airlift of the first batch of 345 intending pilgrims from Niger State to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage. The flight took off from Minna International Airport at 10:15 PM.

The group comprised 227 males and 118 females from Chanchaga and Borgu Local Government Areas. Niger State Governor Moham Umaru Bago was present to bid farewell to the pilgrims, encouraging them to serve as good ambassadors for the state and the country.

He advised the pilgrims not to accept items from strangers for safekeeping and to ensure their personal belongings are secure. The Amirul Hajj, Alhaji Yusuf Nuhu, expressed satisfaction with the level of preparation for the exercise and urged the intending pilgrims to adhere to Saudi Arabian laws and regulations governing Hajj rites throughout their stay in the holy land.
