Niger Governor Donates N50m to Support Nigerian Army Wives' Associations in Minna

Niger State Governor Umaru Bago donated N50 million to support the Nigerian Army wives' associations during an event in Minna. The donation included N20 million each for the Nigerian Army Officers' Wives Association and the Nigerian Army Soldiers' Wives Association, with an additional N10 million for the event organizers.

Governor Bago emphasized the importance of fostering unity and stronger civil-military relations, especially in the face of prevailing security challenges. The event celebrated the West Africa Social Activities (WASA) and highlighted the cultural diversity within the Nigerian Army.

Major General Peter Malla and Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Waidi Shuaibu were present to commend the ongoing efforts to support and train troops.
