Niger Republic Army Convoy Illegally Enters Nigeria, Shoots Sporadically

The recent incident involved a convoy of four Niger Republic military vehicles led by Cpt. Salif Mono crossing into Nigeria and firing sporadically in Mazanya Village, Katsina State.

This breach led to panic among residents, prompting a swift response from Nigerian security forces, including the military, police, DSS, and a joint task force. The intruders were traced and escorted back to the border, with the Nigerien command later apologizing for the unauthorized entry and pledging to prevent future occurrences.
