Nigerdock Celebrates 40 Years in Nigeria's Maritime Sector

Nigerdock celebrated its 40th anniversary, reflecting on its four decades of contributions to Nigeria's maritime industry since its establishment in 1986. Chief Executive Officer Maher Jarmakani highlighted the company's evolution from a ship repair and fabrication firm to a regional hub for port operations and logistics support.

The company has consistently expanded its operations and delivered critical infrastructure projects across Nigeria. Jarmakani noted that Nigerdock has heavily invested in human capital development, training thousands of Nigerian specialists in technical industrial skills.

The anniversary coincides with the commencement of activities at Snake Island Port, a development in partnership with the federal government, which is expected to strengthen maritime trade and logistics operations in the region. Nigerdock's operations span various sectors, including port infrastructure development, logistics, ship repair, and real estate, aiming to support industrial and trade growth.
