Nigeria to Host Inaugural Aircraft Investment Summit

The Nigerian Aircraft Acquisition and Investment Summit, hosted by Chinedu Ez and Keyamo, is scheduled for April 1-2 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. This inaugural summit aims to convene international aircraft lessors, aviation financiers, airline operators, airport concessionaires, policymakers, and investors to explore Nigeria's rapidly expanding aviation market.

The summit seeks to unlock new pathways for aircraft acquisition and infrastructure investment in Nigeria, which has a population exceeding 220 million and a growing demand for air transport services. Currently, Nigeria supports approximately 15-16 million annual air passengers, with projections indicating growth to 25.7 million by 2029.

Tund Moshood emphasized the need for creating sustainable financing structures for Nigerian airlines and modern airport infrastructure through transparent public-private partnerships. The summit represents a significant step in reshaping Nigeria's aviation finance landscape and directly engaging global investors with regulatory operators.
