Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon Boost Security Cooperation Against Terrorism

During a recent high-level security meeting in N'Djamena, Chad, Nigeria's Minister of Defence, Christoph Gwabin Musa, reaffirmed Nigeria's commitment to regional cooperation in combating terrorism. The meeting involved representatives from Nigeria, Chad, and Cameroon, who are active participants in the Multinational Joint Task Force for the Lake Chad Basin.

Discussions centered on reviewing ongoing military operations and strengthening collaborative strategies to address cross-border security threats. The officials emphasized the need to sustain synergy in degrading terrorist networks and restoring peace and stability in the Lake Chad Basin region.
