Nigeria Claims Antalya Tournament Title After Defeating Jordan

Nigeria's national football team, under the management of Eric Chell, triumphed over Jordan to clinch the Antalya tournament title. The match began with Jordan taking the lead in the 17th minute through Mousa Tamari's goal from a free kick, which was pushed into the net by Nigerian goalkeeper Franci Uzoho.

Displeased with his team's early performance, Chell saw improvements as Nigeria equalized with Ademola Lookman scoring in the 25th minute, slotting a low drive into the bottom corner. The comeback was completed by Emmanuel Fernandez, who netted Nigeria's second goal, arriving at the far post to convert a deep cross from Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Despite Alex Iwobi receiving a red card for retaliating against a Jordanian player, Nigeria held on to secure the victory, finishing the tournament with four points, ahead of second-placed Iran. This match marked Nigeria's seventh unbeaten run in regular time.
