Super Eagles Draw 2-2 with Jordan in Friendly Match

On March 31, the Super Eagles of Nigeria faced Jordan in a friendly match held in Turkey, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Jordan opened the scoring in the 17th minute, putting early pressure on Nigeria.

However, Nigeria quickly responded, with Moses Simon equalizing in the 26th minute after reacting fastest in the box to finish a blocked effort from Ademola Lookman. Nigeria then took the lead with a left-footed finish from debutant Emmanuel Fernandez, who marked his first start with a goal from a cross by Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The first half saw Nigeria controlling the game. In the second half, Nigeria faced a setback when goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was forced off due to injury, leading to the introduction of Adebayo Adeleye.

Head coach Eric Chell made further substitutions, including Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi, to reinforce the midfield. However, Jordan equalized in the 77th minute, and despite Nigeria's late pressure, the match ended in a draw.
