Nigeria, Egypt Reschedule AFCON Warm-Up Match After FIFA Ruling

Nigeria and Egypt have adjusted their pre-AFCON friendly match date in response to a new FIFA ruling permitting clubs to retain players until December 15. The friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Pharaohs of Egypt has been postponed by two days to December 14 in Cairo.

Both teams are gearing up for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. Nigeria, three-time champions, will face Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda in Group C matches, while Egypt, seven-time champions, will compete against South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe in Group B.
