Nigeria-EU Business Forum Set for June 2026 in Lagos

The Nigerian government, represented by Atiku Bagudu, announced plans to strengthen economic cooperation with the European Union through the upcoming 10th Nigeria-EU Business Forum, which will take place in Lagos on June 25, 2026. This forum is described as a strategic platform aimed at attracting investment and fostering partnerships that will advance initiatives supporting enterprise development and long-term economic prosperity in Nigeria.

Gautier Mignot, the Ambassador of the European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS, emphasized that the forum will facilitate high-level policy dialogue, business meetings, and exhibitions to explore opportunities for expanding trade and investment. The event is expected to bring together senior government officials, investors, development partners, and business leaders from Nigeria and Europe.

The forum aims to reinforce investor confidence in Nigeria's economy and create new opportunities for trade, investment, and job creation, while also addressing policy reforms and financial innovations to enhance the business environment.
