Tinubu Affirms Global Recognition of Nigeria's Reforms

On Thursday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu affirmed that the reforms instituted by his administration have garnered global attention and commendation. He made these remarks while receiving a delegation from the research group Aseyori Tinubu at the State House, led by Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, the Nigerian Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

President Tinubu attributed the interest of multinationals in Nigeria to the collective efforts of Nigerians across various sectors. He encouraged the delegation to remain focused on their work at the UN, praising Ambassador Ibrahim's impressive performance and urging him to strive for a permanent seat for Nigeria at the UN.

The President expressed optimism about the economy, stating it has passed its darkest phase and highlighted the success of the students’ loan program (NELFUND) and improvements in security. Ambassador Ibrahim acknowledged the President's leadership and the positive changes in Nigeria's international standing due to the economic reforms.
