Nigeria to Host 2027 Intra-African Trade Fair, Boosting Trade and Investments

Nigeria is set to host the 2027 Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) after receiving the official flag in Lagos. Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, confirmed Lagos as the host city during the IATF2025 opening ceremony in Algiers.

The IATF, organized by Afreximbank in collaboration with the African Union Commission and AfCFTA Secretariat, aims to deepen trade, unlock investments, and connect Africa with the world. Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo highlighted the fair's legacy of improving host nations.

The event brings together stakeholders to showcase services, facilitate B2B exchanges, and identify investment opportunities. Hosting the IATF signifies Nigeria's commitment to enhancing trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement.
