Nigeria is on path of reform, renewal — Lagos APC replies Obasanjo

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) responded to former President Olusegun Obasanjo's comments about the state of Nigeria, stating that the country is on a path of reform and renewal. The party's spokesman, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, criticized Obasanjo's remarks as hypocritical and laughable, particularly his allegations against President Bola Tinubu.

Oladejo highlighted Tinubu's focus on the future and his bold actions to address issues such as fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange regime overhaul. The APC urged Obasanjo to show decorum and refrain from attacking the sitting president, as his bitterness and egocentric politics no longer hold relevance.

The party emphasized that Nigeria is recovering from years of structural rot, for which Obasanjo bears a share of the blame.
