APC Blasts Obasanjo Over Tinubu ‘Incompetence’ Remark, Labels Ex-President Hypocrite

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly criticized former President Olusegun Obasanjo for his remarks about President Bola Tinubu's administration. In a statement, the party's Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo, called Obasanjo's comments "laughable" and "hypocritical," stating that the former president lacked the moral authority to judge leaders.

The APC defended Tinubu's reforms, such as fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange liberalization, accusing Obasanjo of presiding over one of the most corrupt governments in Nigeria's history. The party also claimed that Obasanjo's bitterness over not being in control of the government has led him to resent Nigeria's progress.

Lagos APC reiterated its support for Tinubu and criticized Obasanjo for the country's current challenges, stating that the former president bears a significant portion of the blame for the nation's problems.
