Nigeria's Doro Invites Norwegian Investment for Growth

Dr. Bernard M. Doro, the Nigerian Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Poverty Reduction, urged for increased investment in Nigeria during a meeting with Mr. Andrea Krsvik, the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, who led a delegation from Norway.

Dr. Doro pointed out that Nigeria has significant potential for investment, particularly in creating job opportunities for the youth, which would contribute to the economy. He stressed the need for strong partnerships in the Nigerian market and highlighted the ministry's focus on ensuring macroeconomic reforms translate into tangible improvements in the lives of Nigerians, especially in addressing humanitarian crises.

The meeting also aimed to align with the Kampala Declaration, which addresses the entire food value chain, including nutrition and sustainable economic development. Mr. Olubunmi Olusanya, the Permanent Secretary, welcomed the Norwegian delegation and expressed hope for continued support in humanitarian assistance.
