Nigeria Boosts Fashion Industry to Enhance Global Market Share

Nigeria has joined Africa's push for a fair share of the global fashion industry by establishing the Afroliganza Committee under the African Fashion Confederation. Led by Dr.

Lai Labod, the committee will focus on talent development, infrastructure, value chain funding, and market access to elevate Nigeria's fashion sector. The initiative aims to host fashion events in Abuja and Cairo, promoting creativity and competitiveness among African countries.

This move is expected to drive industrialization, create jobs, and enhance the entire value chain of the fashion industry in Nigeria and across the continent.
