Nigeria remains one of Brazil’s key partners in Africa – Lula Da Silva

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva emphasized Nigeria's significance as a key partner in Africa during a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Palácio Planalto in Brasília. Lula highlighted the deep historical and cultural ties between the two countries, dating back decades.

Nigeria is considered one of Brazil's main partners on the African continent. President Tinubu described the state visit as a renewal of the historic relations between the two nations and expressed eagerness to work with President Lula to enhance cooperation in agriculture, energy, trade, and culture.

The leaders aim to build a future of shared prosperity across the Atlantic. This year marks the 65th anniversary of bilateral relations between Nigeria and Brazil.
