Nigeria Dominates Africa Para Badminton Championships with 36 Medals

Team Nigeria emerged as the top performer at the Africa Para Badminton Championships, securing a total of 36 medals, comprising 10 gold, 13 silver, and 13 bronze. The competition, held at the International Conference Center in Umuahia, Abia, saw Egypt and Kenya follow Nigeria in the medal standings.

Notable Nigerian gold medalists include Eniola Bolaji, Chigozi Nnanna, and Mari Nathan. Governor Alex Otti of Abia State commended the athletes and officials for their exceptional performance and unity, expressing gratitude and hinting at future hosting bids.
